Fun Fall Activities

Fall is a great time of the year. The colors of the leaves start to change, the temperatures start to cool off, and the holidays begin to approach which gives us all a nice, festive feeling. Here are a list of activities that we love to do the most during the fall here at Mosquito Joe of North Atlanta:

Corn Mazes

While getting lost on the road is never fun, getting lost in a corn maze has a much better feeling. There’s a thrill to finding your way out of a maze and to us, nothing feels more like fall than a good ol’ fashion corn maze. The harder they are, the better!

Pumpkin, Pumpkin, Pumpkin

This one is just unavoidable. We all see a huge buzz around pumpin spiced lattes this time of the year and we aren’t ashamed to say that we LOVE it! Pumpkin seems to just make everything a bit better. Not only do we love pumpkin coffees, we enjoy pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin everything! Here’s a great recipe list of drinks to make with pumpkin that aren’t lattes (let us know which ones are the best!).

Pies!

Who says it needs to be Thanksgiving to make a festive pie? Pie is great any day of the year! It especially goes great it in morning with a cup of coffee. Here’s a great article all about amazing fall pies that really makes our mouths water. While all the fancy pies definitely look amazing, I’ve always been a huge fan of just regular apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Apple Picking

This is a great activity, especially if you have younger kids. I still have fond memories of apple picking with my family from when I was a child. We used to all dress up in our jeans and flannels and spend the day searching for the perfect apples.

The list could go on forever. The important thing to us here at Mosquito Joe of North Atlanta is being with your family. The greatest part about fall is how it starts to bring everyone closer as the holidays approach. Make sure to get outside and do as much as you can before it gets too cold. Happy Fall everyone!
