Fun Fall Family Activities

Happy fall, y’all! The turn of a season is so exciting. While we truthfully prefer summer, fall is a great time of year. There are tons of things to do locally in our area with your whole family! Check out some of our ideas below to get inspired and dive into all things ‘fall’.

Best Fall Activities - Family - North Atlanta, GA

  1. Go apple picking: Apple picking is fun for the whole family! Not only do you get delicious fruit to take home with you, but it’s fun to see who can get the most apples in the shortest amount of time. Many farms have options to purchase fresh apple cider as well. There’s nothing that screams autumn more that.
  2. Visit a haunted house or theme park: If you have an older crew (pre-teens and teens), take them to a haunted house to really get into the Halloween spirit! There are many local haunted houses to check out. And if roller coasters are your jam, visit Six Flags Over Georgia for Fright Fest! This is a themed month of fun and ghoul trickery to celebrate Halloween while riding all of your favorite rides.
  3. Host a pumpkin carving night: Invite some of the neighbors and their kids over for a pumpkin carving night! Set the kids up with pumpkins and kid-safe tools of course. For the adults, whip up a delicious fall cocktail and enjoy helping out the kiddos or carve your own! This is a great way to gather everyone together for a quintessential fall activity.
  4. Explore a corn maze: If you’ve got a family that loves puzzles, take them to a corn maze! It’s a great way to get outside and enjoy the crisp weather while solving a maze at the same time. Here’s a list of family-friendly corn mazes in the area. And many have hay rides as well! How fun, right!?

Mosquito Joe - Corn Maze - Fun Fall Family ActivitiesWe at Mosquito Joe of North Atlanta know how important family is!
